Green Salsa
Ingredients
- 8 tomatillos
- 3 shallots
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 serranos
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation
- Peel, halve shallots and roll in oil
- Roast shallots and garlic at 400F for 10 minutes
- Peel roasted garlic cloves
- Add all ingredients to blender; use the sauce / dip option

Recently switched from canned green peppers to the whole serranos, try roasting the serranos next time?
Default instructions assume that you have our blender. If you don't, blend, and then cook at medium heat for about 20 minutes. The salsa has turned dark green, and some compounds in the tomatillos will break down, making the salsa more acidic.
