Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (250g) cooked chickpeas (or 3/4 cup dried chickpeas)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp water (or aquafaba)
Preparation
- Combine tahini and lemon juice in food processor
- Process for one minute; scrape sides; process 30 more seconds
- Add olive oil, garlic clove, cumin, and salt
- Process 30 seconds; scrape sides; process 30 seconds
- Add chickpeas; process until smooth (probably 1-2 minutes)
- Add water; process
