Lentil Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried lentils
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1 tbsp flax meal
- 2.5 tbsp water
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cayanne
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 0.5 tbsp garlic powder
Preparation
- Cook lentils and salt in crockpot for three hours
- Drain lentils; add to bowl
- Make flax egg with flax meal and water
- Add spices and flax egg to lentils
- Mix; smashing lentils so that about half of them are turned to mush
- Form into about 8 patties
- Freeze the patties
